| On the evening of January 14, party secretary Fan Yanqing met with the president of administration committee of France Vallourec Group in Traders Fudu Hotel, and endeavored to promote the implementation of project of large-diameter, thick-wall seamless high alloy steel pipe with the performance of high-temperature and high-pressure resistance. France Vallourec Group is the largest steel pipe enterprises. Since 1996, the group has invested four enterprises in Changzhou, with total investment of more than 110 million US dollars. At present, Changzhou has become the Vallourec’s main manufacturing base in China. In order to meet new market demands, Vallourec Group decided to implement the second-phase extension project of large-diameter thick-wall seamless steel pipe, where 60,000 tons of such pipe will be produced every year. |
