On the afternoon of June 5, the application
defense of Changzhou University’s establishment of Mauritius International
Studies Center was held in Nanjing.
Changzhou and Beau Bassin-Rose Hill,
Mauritius established sister-city relationship in October 1998. Since then, the
two cities have made fruitful achievements in governmental, trading, educational
and cultural exchanges. Changzhou University, as part of the educational
exchange program between Changzhou and Beau Bassin-Rose Hill, has been receiving
students from Beau Bassin-Rose Hill since September 2011.
In order to have an in-depth study of
Mauritius and provide policy guidance for national and local exchanges and
cooperation between both countries, Changzhou University applied to the Jiangsu
Provincial Education Department for establishment of Mauritius International
Studies Center. |
