On March 31, Changzhou statistics authority announced a set of economic figures: During January and February, the city's industrial enterprises above designated size realized main business income of 153.04 billion yuan, an increase of 11.1%; profits of 6.14 billion yuan, up 33.1%; and amount of loss dropped 16.0 %. In terms of industries, the profitability of chemical industry rises most rapidly, and 458 above-scale chemical enterprises achieved profits of 490 million yuan, an increase of 70.8 %. Yabang Chemical Group, Linjiang Chemical Co., Ltd., etc. reached higher efficiency indicators because of the favorable impact of the coatings industry. 65 large-scale PV companies achieved profits of 320 million yuan, while in the same period of 2013, the entire industry was at a loss. |
